What We Do
Our mission
The Indigenous Grassroots Circle (IGC) is a non-profit organization that has established unity throughout the Eastern Ontario community. We are a Circle of Métis, First Nations, Inuit and non-indigenous (allies) volunteers who create Indigenous led and themed events as well as the development of community and economic projects that will benefit the entire community.
“The road we travel is equal in importance to the destination we seek. There are no shortcuts. When it comes to truth and reconciliation we are forced to go the distance.”
— Justice Murray Sinclair, Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada
